An Invitation to be Part of a Whole New Art Experience
|
One narrative, four chapters, a walk-through of twelve artworks.
Eva, the protagonist who abandoned her physical body, has asked you to find an ordinary toothbrush. She would lead you into a realm of mystery where you will walk through 12 locally produced media artworks, and in the end, a secret spot will be revealed… So is it a journey for the lost item, or, for the missing exit?
Jockey Club ifva Everywhere Carnival is not stopped by the pandemic. Instead, it takes up a new form to connect and cross the boundaries between the online and offline sites. Hong Kong creatives Joseph Chan, Kevin Cheung, Alize Ho, Vee Leong, Orlean Lai, Heiward Mak, Yip Man-wah, Dylan Kwok, Chilai Howard, Haze Tsui, Stephen Wong, Cyrus Tang and Jun Ho, illustrate their responses to the motif of Heterotopia in art forms like, animation shorts, interactive installations, performance art, net art, transmedia theatre, etc.. Moving images are now appreciated in the city in forms that are beyond imagination. Afterall, The City is The Cinema! |
